Scholarships & Financial Assistance

Eligibility to Receive Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Master-Level

To qualify for financial assistance, individuals must be full-time, degree-seeking students. Nine (9) credit hours per semester is considered a full-time load for Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Ministry students. A full-time load can vary from six (6) to nine (9) credit hours per semester for Master of Arts in Faith & Leadership Formation students. Upon application to one of our programs, students will be required to complete a Financial Assistance Application Form. Once the Financial Assistance Application Form has been completed, the Divinity School Scholarship Committee will review the student’s admissions materials and the Financial Assistance Application Form and determine a scholarship percentage award, which will then be released to the student. Scholarship percentage awards are determined based on merit and expressed need. Consideration for financial assistance begins at 6 credit hours. In some circumstances, financial assistance may be available to Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Ministry students who are taking a part-time (3 credit hour) load. Assistance will be awarded to part-time students as it is available. Students who are on academic restriction cannot be considered for financial assistance.
