Online-Hybrid Degree Plan

Master of Arts in Christian Ministry

Are you interested in pursuing graduate theological education, but are unable to attend a fully in-person program? The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) is a professional degree designed to prepare men and women for specialized ordained and lay ministry.

Play

The MACM degree program is now offered in an online-hybrid format! This format is structured with online and retreat-based courses. This is a cohort model that allows students to form strong bonds with those who will be making this same transformational journey.

The MACM degree requires 48 semester hours. The online-hybrid format allows students to complete the degree program in 4 years. Students will take 6 credit hours each Fall and Spring term.

Course Delivery

The MACM online-hybrid format will consist of two course formats. The majority of courses will be virtual evening courses delivered via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Some courses are in a retreat-hybrid format. Retreat-hybrid courses are delivered fully online with the exception of one two/three day, in-person retreat. Retreats will be held at the University or a retreat center that is centrally located to the school and cohort members.
