Traditional In-Person Degree Plan 

Master of Arts in Christian Ministry

The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) is a professional degree designed to prepare men and women for specialized ordained and lay ministry. 

The MACM degree requires 48 semester hours. This degree program can be completed in a minimum of 2 years, enrolling in an average of 12 semester hours during 4 semesters. Students may elect to earn the degree over a more extended period of time. Normally, the degree can be completed within three years.

The degree provides a foundation in the theological disciplines and specialized training in one of the following specialized ministries:

A core curriculum of 30 hours is designed to provide students with essential foundations for ministry. Students then choose a minimum of 18 hours of vocational and elective studies according to calling and interest. Throughout the curriculum, students are led to develop their spiritual lives and to engage in theological reflection and dialogue.

Traditional In-Person Courses

The courses for the MACM traditional in-person format are offered on our main campus in Buies Creek, NC. In-person classes are conducted in a block schedule format and held on Monday afternoons and evenings (2:30 – 8:30 pm), as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am – 8:30 pm. Students can build schedules that best fit their needs, attending in-person classes one day a week, only in the evenings, or multiple days a week. Click HERE to view a current course schedule

Transfer Information

Transfer students must have a 2.0 grade point average on all work completed and a 2.0 on work done at Campbell. Regardless of the number of credits eligible for transfer, the majority of credits toward the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry degree must be completed through instruction offered by Campbell University.
