Pastor Mini-Sabbatical

A time of reflection, study, research, and rest

Campbell University Divinity School is pleased to sponsor a program designed for individuals in the ministry to have an opportunity to get away and enjoy a time of quiet study and reflection. This program is available to Campbell Divinity School alumni and community ministers to facilitate work on a writing or research project, ministry planning strategies, or just time away to reflect, pray, and rejuvenate.

We encourage you to choose three different dates/times that might work for you. Participants will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. The length of stay for this program is two to five days, depending on your schedule and needs.

You will be staying on campus in one of our guest rooms, and will be provided with a meal card that enables you to eat at any of the University dining halls or restaurants. A parking pass will be provided that will enable you to park anywhere on campus in the visitor parking spaces. A schedule of events for our Fine Arts Department, Athletics Department, and Natatorium (indoor swimming pool) will be provided to you for your use, should you choose to take advantage of them. A campus map and list of local restaurants will also be provided. Free access and use of the Wiggins Memorial Library is provided. A schedule of library hours will be included in your sabbatical packet.

Depending on the time of your sabbatical and on their availability, our Divinity School professors may be available to you for dialogue, instruction, or to just pray with you.
