Since the inception of the Divinity School, our relationship with stakeholders has been of utmost importance. Churches, denominations, and non-profit organizations have looked to Campbell University Divinity School (CUDS) to equip leaders for ministry in congregation and community. As part of the Boundary Spanning Theological Education initiative, that legacy continues within the Office for Partnership Development. Our office seeks to develop strong partnerships with diverse churches and traditions, with particular emphasis on those that have historically been underserved in terms of access to graduate theological education. These partnerships are specifically intended to be mutual and bi-directional. Our goal is to span boundaries, building mutually beneficial relationships in which CUDS serves its partners as a resource for building up strong churches, even as CUDS benefits from the traditions, insights, and encouragement of these partners.
Of course, partnership is understood in a variety of ways. So, in viewing this section we hope you can find the areas where the Divinity School and your congregation/organization might collaborate. If you have a partnership idea which is not mentioned, please contact our office for a conversation.
I look forward to speaking with you and discovering, together, wonderful opportunities for partnership!
Sincerely and in Service to Christ,
Rev. John I. Norman, Jr.
