This degree is designed for a person who already holds a theological master’s degree from an ATS (Association of Theological Schools) accredited school. The Master of Divinity degree is preferred. Enrollment in the program presupposes the person has a minimum of three years of significant ministerial experience with at least one year of ministerial experience after the completion of MDiv or other theological master’s degree. The DMin program is highly contextual, as one’s coursework through the duration of the program derives specifically from one’s ministry context.
